About This Place

Located in the heart of Sunnyvale, Bober Tea & Coffee is far more than just your average bubble tea store — it’s a vibrant destination where artistry meets flavor in every sip and snapshot. Specializing in an array of Taiwanese-inspired bubble tea creations, Bober Tea & Coffee elevates the familiar to the extraordinary with its carefully crafted drinks and Instagram-worthy environment.

What truly sets Bober Tea apart are its signature series, each showcasing a unique twist on classic bubble tea. The Brown Sugar Series enrobes cups with warm, housemade Taiwanese brown sugar syrup, offering decadent options like the Brown Sugar Cookies & Cream — a luscious blend of classic milk tea, rich cheese cream, and crunchy crushed Oreo cookies. For those who appreciate luxurious textures, the Brown Sugar Crème Brûlée Milk Tea delivers a velvety experience generously coated with sweet housemade brown sugar.

The Chizu Series brings a captivating fusion with its dairy-based, housemade sweet cheese cream topping, perfectly marrying flavors like the fresh and fruity Chizu Strawberry Green Tea or the earthy, aromatic Chizu Matcha Latte made with ceremonial-grade matcha and organic Straus family milk. And for latte lovers, the Latte Series boasts comforting blends like the Chizu Taro Latte, crowned with lush cheese cream, and the richly smooth Matcha Latte recommended at 75% sweetness to perfectly balance its premium notes.

But beyond the elaborate drinks, Bober Tea & Coffee is a feast for the eyes and spirit. Customers repeatedly praise its pink-hued, artful decor, which invites every visitor to relax and bask in its whimsical ambiance. Karina K highlights it as “one of the prettiest places to have mochi donut and boba tea I have ever seen,” noting that “every corner has a beautiful picture spot” — transforming the cafe into a visual oasis that elevates the typical bubble tea experience. The balance of playful aesthetics with cozy elements like swinging chairs creates an inviting atmosphere for friends, families, and celebrations alike.

Lisa Chi’s experience further echoes this sentiment, sharing how the venue’s décor made her baby shower effortless to decorate and delightfully special. Meanwhile, families like Tani’s appreciate Bober Tea as a fun, engaging spot for kids and adults alike — though some advise patience due to longer wait times during busy hours. Dan Dan offers an honest note on the tea quality, pointing out that while the tea itself may not be the most outstanding, the indulgent tapioca pearls and textured drinks remain enjoyable and comforting.

For those who seek a sweet treat to accompany their beverage, the mochi donuts come highly recommended, adding an unusual yet delightful twist to the traditional cafe menu. Zahra Ali paints the picture of a perfect “girls’ outing” locale where one can unwind amidst beautiful decor and extravagant drinks, though she notes the lively ball pit can be a bit overwhelming — an honest glimpse into the multifaceted vibe Bober Tea offers.

In essence, Bober Tea & Coffee is a dynamic blend of aesthetic charm and taste innovation. Whether you’re chasing a perfectly balanced matcha latte, craving a rich brown sugar concoction, or simply looking for a beautiful spot to gather with friends, this Sunnyvale gem invites you to experience the sweeter side of bubble tea culture enveloped in creativity and warmth.

Such a beautiful place to hang out and enjoy boba tea and take pictures. They deserve an award for the most artistic boba place. Everything here is aesthetically pleasing and pink! Love it. The decor is top notch and well thought out. It’s one the the prettiest places to have mochi donut and boba tea I have ever seen. Every corner has a beautiful picture spot. Artistic and well planned. And you can also sit on the benches as long as you are under 180 pounds. There is a sign that says that . It’s in a great location across the street from the Sunnyvale Farmers Market that is here every Saturday. So you can eat fresh fruit and veges and Oaxacan food and corn on the cob and dumplings and plants and artistic handmade stuff. Lots of booths have free samples so you can enjoy grazing all day and then you can go to Bober Tea! Enjoy! Oh and the bathrooms were super clean!!

I know there are many good boba tea places in bay area depending on people's preferences. I am giving this place a 5 star review to this location based on multiple aspects. I rented the ball pit and sitting area for my baby shower party. I am expecting a baby girl and the pink theme of Bober tea is just perfect. I didn't bother to do any further decorations because it's already pretty enough. The staffs are friendly and helpful and rental charge is reasonable. My guests had a blast there.

BOBA!!! Our family loves milk tea. So when a friend told me about this place and showed me how cute it was, I knew I had to takw my "foodies." They were pleasingly surprised when we pulled up to this adorable Boba Cafe. We drove around the block several times looking for parking when I finally decided to let them out while I parked on a nearby parking structure around the corner. They had fun scrolling through the menu kiosk and taking pictures. There's a cute little ball pit with hot pink balls, swings that I was terrified I'd flip off of, so i decides not to live on the edge and try them out...lol. There's a floral phone booth my daughter enjoyed snapping selfies in and a floral hot air balloon. The tea is pretty good. Have i had better? Yes...but it was about the experience. My girls gave it an 8 out of 10. I had the milk tea with Boba at 75% sweetness, it was perfect. I added Oreos, and it was pretty good. My daughter had to have her milk tea in the Champagne bottle. It was an addtl' $5...cute souvenir. We also tried the Thai tea. It seemed to be missing something. It was just okay. The taro tea was pretty good. However, if you get it in the champagne bottle, you seem to get more ice than tea. My 20 something year olds plan to go back. OH! They advertise Mochi donuts, but sadly they aren't available yet, so that was a little disappointing. We'll be going back soon. We went on a Thursday around 6:45p.m. the place filled up quickly around 7:15.

The store itself is pretty and is great place for photos. It is covered in pink flowers and there are a couple areas in the store meant for pictures. I personally like the swinging chairs to be in as you enjoy your drink. There is typically a long line. Wait time for drinks is a bit on the longer side as well. The tea quality itself is not spectacular but I did enjoy the texture of the tapioca pearls. Drinks are pricy but some come in a cute cup that have bear ears on them. They don’t accept cash at the moment unfortunately.

It’s an amazing place to go with your girls. The drinks are delicious and the mochi donuts are something unusual. The only part that I was not very excited about was the ball pit for the kids. This place is so pretty with all their decorations and their fancy drinks that people esp, women likes to come here to unwind and just feel special. But, with the squealing of kids in the ball pit just ruins the mood for enjoying the ambience of this place.

Didn't get donuts and still loved it! We had the place to ourselves mid day on a Monday when we dropped by for mochi donuts. Apparently, they are having distribution issues, so no donuts any time soon. But the inside of this place is an insta-lover's pink paradise. Many great backdrops and interactive opportunities like the swing chairs and a ball pit. So fabulous that I'm not even sad about missing the donuts! Super friendly, helpful employee. Would love to come back!
